A beautiful antique 19th-century Chinese blue and white porcelain bowl, decorated with an attractive continuous river landscape.
The exterior is finely painted in underglaze cobalt blue with traditional Chinese pavilions and pagodas, arched bridges, trees, distant mountains and a small fishing boat on the water. The landscape unfolds around the entire bowl, creating a charming and peaceful scene.
The interior rim is decorated with a geometric diaper-pattern border, accompanied by a band of suspended dots below.
Period: Qing dynasty, 19th century.
