A set of Small Ming Porcelain bowls in the Japanese Taste, Late Ming Period, c.1600. These small  porcelain bowls were made in China at Jingdezhen and were popular in Japan. Small Ming porcelain dishes of this type were made for the Japanese tea ceremony meal, the Kaiseki. The scene depict Liu Hai and the Toad
