Rare & Beautiful Arita Japanese Porcelain Jug with silver lid (19th century addittion). Scene of lady with parasol, another figure and birds in a landscape.

This 17th Century Japanese Export Porcelain Jug or Ewer, Arita Kilns c.1670-1690 is painted in lovely blue and white. The painting style is a mixture of Japanese, with influences of similar Chinese Transitional porcelain ewers. Visible is a lovely garden scene with figures.
