Rare & Beautiful Arita Japanese Porcelain Jug with handle and spout.
This 17th Century Japanese Export Porcelain Jug or Ewer, Arita Kilns c.1660-1680 is painted in lovely blue and white. The painting style is a mixture of Japanese, with influences of similar Chinese Transitional porcelain ewers. Visible is a lovely garden scene with figures. The slender high handle has a hole at the top to affix a European mount and cover.
