Antique Chinese Kraak Porcelain Plate – Scholars & Fishermen Landscape – 17th Century
A beautiful and finely potted kraak porcelain plate, richly painted in a vibrant cobalt blue underglaze. This dish features a classic and highly desirable kraak-style landscape scene, depicting scholars crossing a bridge under a tree and fishermen in boats, all set within a detailed riverbank and mountain backdrop.
The central medallion is expertly framed by a molded and fluted rim. The decoration is crisp and clear, with charming details that bring the narrative scene to life.
