This piece came from the collection of Gerard Vissering who was the president of the central bank of The Dutch East Indies around 1900. In 1911 he became the financial advisor to the last emperor of China. He became a mandarin 2nd class and worked in the forbidden city for around a year, but had to leave after the revolution of 1912 taking with him some nice pieces. Thence by decent.
