Condition Report: / / Overall Condition Close to Perfect condition, just some frits and firing flaw to upper and inside rim. Also some minimal faded enamal there. Size 105mm high and 145mm spout to handle
A very nice example of a meiji period Japanese Arita porcelain teapot with floral design.
The piece is delicately and very nicely mad, painted and shaped. The handles and the spout are in the shape of bamboo sprouts.
The base has a six character mark for which we needed some help to translate it;
