Nicely made artifact used as table decoration during the kaiseki meal.
A fine genuinely antique Japanese hand-wrought and hand cast copper ten legged crab Okimono sculpture. Very fine condition. Today these older works of art serve as neat collectibles and wonderful decorative accents and make for great conversation. Some think the designs on some of their shells resemble Samurai masks. Its marked at the belly.
