Large late Ming dynasty Wanli period blue and white kraak ware export porcelain deep charger.
The dish has a flattened rim, decorated in the center within an eight-pointed star shaped medallion surrounded by two concentric circles. The spaces between the circles and the medaillon are filled up with geometric design. The central design is of a rocky landscape with flowers.
The border with eight compartments of stylized peach/sunflowers branches alternating with Daoist symbols.
Especially the Kintsugi restoration on this piece is amazing.
