Condition Report: Dish 1 with line in centre and 1 small one from rim, dish 2 with glaze line at underside wall. Size 25x2.7CM DiameterxHeight
A very nicely decorated plate, with an unusual combination of underglaze blue and overglaze enamels.
Sharing with you this interesting and vividly painted dish, most probably from around 1800, Jiaqing period. We have two of these dishes and according to the provenance for export to the Brazilian market, commissioned by the 1st Baron of Itamaraty.
Visible is an Intense decoration with enamels. Border with gold friezes and band with bunches of grapes, vines and in the center a pomegranate tree and its fruits with the village in the fore and background.
