A lovely very interesting antique Chinese porcelain plate with a central decoration of a large and extensive monogram, possibly from a Dutch Baronal family with the initials VD (or DL), crowned with the Baronal crown(?) surrounded by floral sprays and a bouquet, covered in nice overglaze famille rose enamels with gold. There was a former description which noted that this plate could be either from the Van Dedem family or De Lawick). Handcrafted in ancient Imperial China during the Qing dynasty, Qianlong period (ca. 1750). On the backside an unglazed foot rim. Guaranteed original and of the stated period.
