A decorative pair of Chinese enamelled metal vases, attributed to the Qianlong period, 18th century. Each has a flared mouth, a slender neck with scrolling side ornaments, a rounded body and a shaped red base.
The vases are painted with pink blossoms and blue details among curling foliage on a bright green ground. Turquoise bands and colourful panels on the neck add to their lively Canton enamel appearance. Displayed together, they make a striking pair.
