Lovely Japanese Porcelain Koro/Incense burner.

Male Bodhisattva Monju Bosatsu.

Monju Bosatsu 文殊菩薩
Personifies Wisdom, The Voice of Buddhist Law
Wisest of the Bodhisattva. In modern Japan, students
pay homage to Monju in the hopes of passing school
examinations and becoming gifted calligraphers.

    Condition C; Lid (woman) has small fritting and 1 chip to rim. Firing flaw lines inside. Koro (Lion) has some small fritting/paint loss and firing flaw lines which seem to be stabilized with glue and the belly is repainted (not sure what is underneath. Size; 310 x 260 x 180 mm approx. 3.2 kilogram
