A very nicely decorated plate with a scene of an old and Gnarled pine tree and traveller. The subject of this motiff is that the literatus is always travelling, trying to discover the inner peace of mind. Tea MAsters would interpred this particular dish as showing that the traveller has found inner peace in old age as represented by the pine tree.
