Condition Report: / / Overall Condition 2 or 3 fritspots and some firing bubbles to the rim. a firing flaw also. Size: 186x33mm.

An unusual and very nicely decorated plate in good condition. Late Ming porcelain dish,  Wanli or Tianqi Period. We tend more towards Wanli period because it has lot of similarities with similar pieces from that period.

Central scene of 3 Geese, 2 sitting/walking in a pond with water plants on a rock and 1 in flight beneath the sun. All within a double ring. The rounded sides of the cavetto are left plain white and the rim is painted with what seems flower scrolls. The base cavetto with ruyi, the base rim with flower scrolls
