Go is a board game of East Asian origin, for two players. It is said to be invented around 2000 BC and is still played in nearly unaltered form. It is played by millions of people in the country of origin, China, the surrounding countries Korea and Japan, and beyond. The word go (that can be pronounced in the Dutch as well as the English way) is the European version of the Japanese name I-Go (Kanji: 囲碁 of 碁). In China the game is called Weiqi (围棋),
