Sharing with you this nice zisha/yixing teapot, 19th century and moulded into the trunk of a plum tree. I always like these nicely shaped pieces.
The lid and the bas both have a mark and according to the ‘Yixing teapots to Europe’ book the translation is as following;
The lid has 2 characters in a double gourd vase reading ‘Jing Ming’
The base a six character seal mark reading Yizing Zisha Chahu.
