Catalogue of an exhibition held in Jingdezhen for two months at the end of 2018 by the Tang Ying Society – a group of collectors of Ming and Qing ceramics. The first exhibition in China to focus on late Ming ceramics made in Jingdezhen for export to Japan – ko-sometsuke wares. Nearly 200 exhibits were shown, loaned by Society members and some pieces from the Yanshan Museum in Jingdezhen. The ceramics predominantly from the Tianqi and Chongzhen reigns. The large majority exhibited for the first time. Illustrated throughout.
