Sharing with you this lovely selection of 4 Chinese blue and white porcelain plates. Kraak ware from the Wanli perid. With scenes of animals and objects.
Ca 1600.
This is a special and interesting collection because we got them from a friend who is an archaeologist. These pieces were all excavated from the ground. The places of excavation are Cambodia (Bird and objects), Hawai (Leaf) and Amsterdam (Other bird and grashopper). The ware from being underground is still on the objects and we kept it this way because it’s interesting.

Grashopper dish > two restored and repainted sections to the rim, some fritting. Size: 15.3×2.5CM DiameterxHeight
Bird dish with flowers in the cavetto > some fleebites to rim only. Size: 14.7×3.2CM DiameterxHeight
Bird dish with objects and flowers in the cavetto > fritting and large circular line in the wall. Size: 13.8×3.1CM DiameterxHeight
Leaf dish > 2 hairlines from rim, some chips and fritting. Size: 14.6x3CM DiameterxHeight
