Sharing with you this beautiful Chinese celadon-glazed tripod incense burner dating to the Ming period. The heavily potted, cylindrical body is decorated with simple horizontal ribs and raised on three short bracket-shaped feet. Covered externally in a soft pale sea-green monochrome glaze with attractive age-related crackling and subtle variations in tone. The recessed interior is largely unglazed, revealing the warm reddish-brown body, while the underside has an unglazed circular foot ring.
