Antique Chinese Ming Tianqi Chongzhen Blue White Porcelain Bottle Vase Fu Mark
In stock
Condition Report: Ware. Restored neck and restored section to the base. Size: 15.5CM high
A charming Chinese blue and white porcelain bottle vase, probably dating to the late Ming dynasty, Tianqi–Chongzhen period (1621–1644).
The elegant pear-shaped body is decorated with flowering plants, stylised rockwork in a landscape. The slender neck is decorated with upright leaf motifs beneath a flaring mouth.
The recessed base bears a blue Fu (福) character, an auspicious mark symbolising happiness, good fortune and prosperity.
In our opinion this piece has been under the water for a long time, we do not know which place or shipwreck.
