Very happy to share this lovely early 17th century dish, Jingdezhen made for the Japanese market. Ko Akae decoration of a landscape with literatus and servant approaching a city wall. Underglaze blue and red.
These dishes are well described in the literature, for example similar ones in the peony pavillion collection.
