Sharing with you this fantastic Chinese porcelain dish. Tianqi period, Ming dynasty.
This piece belongs to the Kosometsuke (Ko-sometsuke) group, produced in Jingdezhen specifically for the Japanese tea ceremony market.
The dish is finely potted with a gently everted rim and decorated in underglaze cobalt blue. The central medallion depicts a sparse riverside landscape with Fishermen boats. A beautiful tree is visible in the front.
