A very nice bowl with a scene of two figures sitting together. Other side of the bowl has Calligraphy/text.
This is an interesting one. The figures are in the style of transitional/Kangxi (check faces book of Tommy Eklof). On the other hand the blue colour and the calligraphy points to a later date and so does the metal rim. At the moment we think its a Kangxi revival piece for the Vietnamese market, a sort of blue de hue piece from Late Qing period.
