A finely painted Chinese famille verte porcelain bowl, Kangxi period, circa 1700.
The rounded body rises from a short circular foot and is decorated with flowering branches and scattered floral sprays against a white glazed ground.
The exterior features a branching trunk bearing colourful blossoms, together with larger flower sprays, painted in green, iron-red, blue, yellow and aubergine tones.
The interior is centred by a floral arrangement within a blue double circle. An iron-red patterned border encircles the inner rim, interrupted by shaped reserves containing small flowering sprays.
