Antique Meiji period Bronze Incense Burner Monju Bosatsu Shisi Kazunori
Out of stock
Condition Report: Very good condition. Minimal age sings like scratches, nothing serious. 340mm length 180mm width 410mm high
Nicely made piece of art. Very well made. An incense burner that lets the incense smoke come out of the mouth of the Lion.
Both the lid and the dog have a mark, Kazunori. This could be second Fukawa Kazunori (二代目 府川 一則, 1855-1910) or third Fukawa Kazunori (府川 一則, 1870-1934), metal sculptor family.
Pictures in natural light have been added. They were made with a telephone so not of the best quality. It’s very difficult to photograph these kind of shiny statues, we did our best.
