Sharing with you this amazing Chinese Kangxi period temple fruit pyramid in famille verte palette. Each fruit is moulded individually and stacked in a traditional pyramid. Kangxi fruit stacks were used as fruit offerings in a home or temple altar, and also in tombs. Worshipers believed the Gods could not discern the difference between fresh fruit and porcelain counterparts.
