Sharing with you this lovely small dish in Blue and white.
Kangxi period piece in underglaze blue. Visible is a garden scene with an Elegant lady (Liza) and a boy (zotje) in leasure time.
The base bears a neatly written four-character mark in underglaze blue: “青玉堂製” (Qingyu Tang Zhi) — “Made for the Hall of Green Jade,” indicating private kiln production for a refined literati or collector’s hall.
Provenance: From the inventory of an old Antique Shop from Amsterdam that stopped operating in the 1980’s. Thence by decent in the family.
