A very nicely decorated Ming plate.
Dish on footring, spreading sides, lobed rim. Decorated in underglaze blue with a fantastic landscape scene in typical painting style for this period. The sides have two rows of undecorated pentagonal panels in light relief.
Wanli, Tianqi or Chongzhen Period 1590 – 1640
