Condition Report: Overall Condition; Bowl 1 rimfrits/chipping only and 1 small firing flaw line inside. Bowl 2 obviousy restored. Size approx. diameter x Height 148x70mm or inch 5.82x2.75
Sharing with you these two very nicely decorated Yongzheng Klapmutsen/Bowls
Decorated in opaque enamels of the famille rose palette (fencai) with an European boat waiting the arrival of the Chinese pilot to take her to Canton on the banks of Pearl River; On the bank a pagoda, Yongzheng reign, Qing dynasty.
Dating to around 1730.
Both pieces are marked at the base.
Similar to the plate pictured in Howard & Ayers – China for the west. item 215 in volume 1.
