Condition Report: 1 chip to rim, 1 firing flaw to inside wall with small star hairline (only visible inside). Size 177x90mm DiameterxHeight
Sharing with you this fantastic Wanli period bowl of great shape and painting. These flying horse bowls are very nice in general but the painting on this bowl is atypical. Normally the inside walls of these bowls are fully painted around the central scene. On this particular bowl the walls are left blank. The so called Chakra motifs and ruyi heads on the outside are usually painted on the inside wall.
This makes this bowl highly interesting.
