Condition Report: Condition, 2 chips to rim, 1 star hairlinein base with 1 line running over the rim and 2 fritspots to lower rim. Size 35.5CM high and 20.5CM diameter upper rim.
Sharing with you this Lovely and large vase from the Kangxi period. Beautiful cobalt blue colors in underglaze blue.
Visible are 3 large three rectangular boxes with flowering plants (peony, prunus) near a rock with insects and birds. In between, a narrower compartment with ancient coins. At the top and bottom a band with scalloped cartouches with chrysanthemum drinks, separated by a ruyi motif. On the outside edge and on the foot a band of flowers in medallions in reserve. The inner edge with a band with pine branches.
