Very happy with the arrival of this larger sized dish from the later 18th century. These dishes were made for the South-East Asian market and are usually very colorful. We have had many examples in the past but not yet with this scene, also with the nice light purple/blue/grey colors in close to the rim.
Some examples of family members in the book of Harrisson also added to the pictures.
Similar pieces pictured in;
Later Ceramics in South-East Asia: Sixteenth to Twentieth Centuries (Oxford in Asia Studies in Ceramics), Barbara Harrisson.
