A beautiful, antique Delft plate, underglaze marked with ivduijn which indicates that it comes from the pottery ‘De Porceleyne Schotel’ from Delft under the leadership of Johannes van Duijn from 1764 to 1772. The plate is provided with tin glaze. Painted with a soft blue decoration consisting of a central peony with leaf and curl motifs, surrounded by 3 smaller peonies with curling leaves on the flat and edge. The plate has a yellow-brown edge and a stylized edge decoration. On the back, the impressions of the baking pins at the kiln passage can be seen, and the applied mark of the pottery. Diameter is 23 cm, height is 3.5 cm
