An antique Chinese blue and white porcelain sweetmeat dish, dating to the Qing dynasty, circa 1800.
This octagonal dish originally formed the central compartment of a larger sweetmeat set. The photographs of the original set are included for reference; unfortunately, the set was broken during transport. This listing is for the central dish only.
The dish is painted in underglaze blue with a charming waterside landscape, featuring houses, trees and a small figure. A patterned border follows the octagonal rim.
Condition: A small firing flaw to the rim. Please see the photographs.
Size: 15.8 cm diameter × 1.8 cm high (approximately 6.22 × 0.71 inches).
