An antique Chinese blue and white porcelain dish dating to the Kangxi period (1662–1722), circa 1700.

The centre is painted in underglaze blue with ducks in flight above a waterside scene, with two further birds standing among reeds and flowering lotus.

The broad rim features six floral cartouches reserved against a blue ground decorated with an interlocking geometric pattern. The reverse is painted with two slender bamboo sprays.

Marked with a lozenge at the base.
The lozenge is one of the Eight Precious Objects (babao), an auspicious Chinese emblem representing victory and success.
