Sharing with you this fantastic pair of two Chinese porcelain dishes. Tianqi transitional period.
This piece belongs to the Kosometsuke (Ko-sometsuke) group, produced in Jingdezhen specifically for the Japanese tea ceremony market.
Decorated with a scene of a scholar and his young attendant (1 dish with 3 figures) in a tranquil landscape. It is a very vivid scene and lovely examples of this classic type.
