‘Gold’ Imari, decorated in gold, iron-red, birds of prey and flowering plants and insects.
This is a beautiful example of ‘gold’ Imari. No underglaze blue or other enamel colors have been used, and the thin rosy layer of gold provides sufficient contrast to the brighter red and gold.
