Sharing with you this beautiful Blue and White Large dish.

This fine Chinese blue and white porcelain plate from the Kangxi period (1662–1722) exemplifies the elegance and sophistication of Qing dynasty porcelain craftsmanship.

• Front decoration:
  The central roundel depicts an elegant garden scene with four refined ladies, two of them seated while playing musical instruments and the others standing in graceful poses. The background shows a stylized garden setting with a large fence, banana leaves, rocks, and trees beneath swirling clouds, evoking an atmosphere of leisure and cultivated refinement.

  Surrounding the central scene, the cavetto and wide rim are divided into radiating panels, alternating between floral sprays (peonies, chrysanthemums, and lotus) and foliage motifs, painted in brilliant cobalt blue tones. This segmented arrangement is highly characteristic of Kangxi design, balancing symmetry with decorative richness.

• Reverse decoration:
  The back is similarly divided into radiating floral panels, echoing the motifs on the front border. At the center of the base, within a double-circle, is an apocryphal six-character mark in underglaze blue. Mark reads “Precious object of rare jade among treasured vessels”
